Legoland California: A Day to Remember

Share this post and watch our community grow!

I am so excited to share our day at the Legoland California Resort with you! Our family was able to go on a few rides, indulged in some delicious treats and of course enjoyed each other’s company(most of the time!). Today, I am sharing some of the things we did to help other families plan their trip. I hope that this blog post is helpful for your next visit!

Get there early!

Legoland California Resort is open from 10am – 8pm every day. However, if you stay at one of their hotels, you can enter the park one-hour before everyone else. Make sure you plan your day accordingly and tackle the rides your family really wants to do first.

My family and I focused on the rides we could do together as a family first and then moved on to the ones Noah was excited to try and the ones that Livi could actually be part of.

And the legoland app was a definite help for us, which brings me to the following:

Having the app with us was a great way to keep track of our park visit and figure out what we wanted to do next. It also helped us get to the attractions without getting lost!

There’s plenty to do with a 2-year old

Let’s be honest. Going to a theme park with a little one can be complicated at times. However, Legoland California Resort had so much for Livi to do. In fact, we didn’t even get to most of the rides!

However, these were some of the ones she enjoyed:

  • Hideaways
  • Pharaoh’s Revenge
  • Adventure’s Club
  • Lego City: Deep Sea Adventure
  • Ninjago the Ride
  • Sky Patrol
  • Coast Cruise
  • Lost Kingdom Adventure

There’s plenty for the big kids to do

Now that Noah meets most of the height requirements, there were so many rides he was able to enjoy. His favorite was Lego Technic Coaster!

He’s about 44in tall and enjoyed:

  • Adventure’s Club
  • Lego City: Deep Sea Adventure
  • Ninjago the Ride
  • Lost Kingdom Adventure
  • Driving School
  • The Dragon
  • Ninjago the Ride

Legoland has more than 60 rides and with so much to do, you’re bound to find something that your whole family will enjoy.

However!

Make sure to make time for Miniland USA. Your little ones will love it and you’ll be amazed at the details. From the Golden Gate Bridge to New York City, there’s so much to see.

Don’t forget to make time for treats!

You can only bring water and snacks to the theme park. Bringing outside food is not allowed, unless you have food dietary restrains. So this is a good time to indulge in Granny’s Apple fries and some churros.

Tip: The apple fries are on the very back of the park, close to Hideaways.
